- LaVendange is a friendly complex of five comfortable Gites on an historic former fortified farm
- Located in the heart of the picturesque Nie valley, Charente-Maritime (famous for its sunflowers). 57 km East of the Port of Rochfort.
- Created especially for families, LaVendange offers a safe environment for babies and toddlers and lots to do for children of all ages
- Quiet, rural location, away from busy roads, but easy drive to nearby market towns and beaches
- Kids love to play with our ducklings and gather fresh eggs from our hens and quail.
- 50m2 Heated pool in safe, gated, fully enclosed area totally separate from the main play areas
- Play barn with table tennis, table football, basketball plus a huge field with goals for soccer
- Perfect family cycling country with quiet roads and markets and cafes to visit locally
- Fast Wifi on site ( up to 500mB/s ) is available in all the cottages* and in the main garden area
- EV Charging Point available : 3.5kW/hr (overnight only).
- Please note that LaVendange is only normally open to guests during July and August
We have 5 cottages to choose from sleeping from 5 to 8 in 3 or 4 bedrooms. They all surround the enclosed courtyard garden. Several have private gardens too.
Pool
Our south-facing solar heated swimming pool is 10mx5m and surrounded by a spacious sunbathing terrace and lawn. We offer weekly scuba diving for children and adults.
Gardens
Our fully enclosed play garden has swings, slide, playhouse, shaded sandpit, toys, trampoline and lots of space to run around. There is also a large playbarn. The cottages all face the garden so parents can relax while the children play in a safe environment, far from busy roads
- Please note that although we have a wifi router in each cottage, due to the thick stone walls, we cannot guarantee fast wifi in every room.
